Williams-Sonoma Looks to Fill 7k Remote Jobs

One major retailer recently announced 7,000 fully remote positions ahead of the holiday season – and with an initial salary of at least 15 15.

Williams Sonoma پو Pottery Barn, owner of West Elm and its flagship brand stores اب strives to fill 7,000 seasonal customer service positions from home between now and the end of November.

Customer service agents will be trained to call and assist customers in ordering, facilitating returns, locating products, and scheduling delivery.

Other job responsibilities include resolving customer queries and concerns, providing product information and checking inventory.

What do you need for one of these jobs working from home?

Williams-Sonoma High School is looking for candidates with a diploma and one to two years of customer service experience.

Although these jobs are completely remote, they are not available everywhere. You must live in one of the following 12 states to apply: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Idaho, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia or Utah.

You’ll need a phone and a newer computer or laptop with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, or Mac OS 10.15 or newer. You’ll also need a wired USB headset with anti-virus software, a webcam and a microphone.

These remote positions do not allow you to use Wi-Fi for security reasons, so you will need an Ethernet cable from your modem / router or USB to Ethernet converter.

Strong communication skills are essential for these roles, and are helpful if you have experience in a performance-oriented or metric-driven job.

Finally, there is a three-week payment at home, and 100 attendees are required.

On October 7, Williams-Sonoma became the latest retailer to offer a minimum wage of 15 15. According to the company’s press release, the pay rise will take effect immediately and applies to employees in all sectors of the company, including customer care centers, supply chain and store employees.

Williams-Sonoma offers other benefits to its seasonal employees, including:
