Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez reveal new born daughter name

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have given their newly born daughter the name Bella Esmeralda

The announcement was made by the footballer’s girlfriend, 28, alongside three adorable photos of the child sleeping peacefully in her cot.

The baby was born on April 18, but his twin brother died tragically at birth.

The former sales assistant and Manchester United striker revealed that their son died at birth on April 18, but their daughter survived.

The following was said in an emotional statement announcing the news:

“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our baby boy has died.” It is the most agonizing pain that any parent can experience.

“Only our baby girl’s birth has given us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

“We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors and nurses for their expert care and assistance.

“We are all devastated by this loss and respectfully request privacy during this difficult time. You are our angel, our baby boy. We will always cherish you.”

Cristiano Jr., 11, and twins Eva and Mateo, 5, are already Ronaldo’s children.

Bella is Ronaldo and Georgina’s second child together, following the birth of Alana Martina, 4, in November 2017.
