MOVIE : The Most Reluctant Convert (2021)

C.S. Lewis considers life to be dismal and unlucky after losing his mother to disease and being separated from his father.

Until he befriends J.R.R. Tolkien and Hugo Dyson, his schooling under atheist William T. Kirkpatrick and his traumatic experiences in The Great War reinforce his case for materialism.

Lewis is challenged by his fellow academics, all of whom are Christians, to study the logical, mythical, and literary justifications for Christianity, and he is forced to make a life-changing decision: to hold fast to materialism or to commit his life to Jesus Christ.
